I felt like I had been cursed by black magic my entire life. Nothing ever went my way. I stood by and watched the man that I was married to divorce me and marry a woman that we both worked with and knew. His mother was inviting the woman to family gatherings before he and I were even divorced. I felt like everyone; even my own family was plotting against me.
